  62.    Your vocabulary words and clues are used to automatically create
  63.    matching and multiple choice quizzes, word searches, cryptolists,
  64.    vocabulary bingo cards, flash cards, magic number squares, and word
  65.    juggles.

  67.    These activities have been used by trainers for seminars, by teachers
  68.    for vocabulary review, by businesses for their company newsletters,
  69.    by newspapers for promotions, and for solving at parties.

  115.    ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS:
  116.  
  117.    The WORD SEARCH can be varied up to 36 columns and 25 rows.
  118.    Below the word search, the hidden word, a definition of the word,
  119.    or the first letter of the hidden word with trailing blanks
  120.    can be printed. A hidden phrase can be added to the word search.
  121.  
  122.    A variety of VOCABULARY BINGO CARDS can also be created and
  123.    printed from your list of vocabulary words.  The optional FREE
  124.    SPACE may be placed in the center of the card.  Multiple cards
  125.    can be automatically printed.

  127.    CRYPTOLISTS substitute a different letter of the alphabet for
  128.    each letter of the vocabulary word. Users attempt to find the
  129.    pattern for the other words.

  131.    JUGGLE WORDS juggle the letters of a word.  JUGGLE WITH CLUES
  132.    juggles the letters of the word and provides the clue for help.

  134.    FLASH CARDS may be printed 3 different ways.  The FLASH CARDS
  135.    can also be used as the calling cards for BINGO.

  137.    MATCHING QUIZZES select words and clues from your word list,
  138.    then randomly rearrange the clues.

  140.    MULTIPLE CHOICE QUIZZES select clues, than randomly choose four
  141.    words for the choices.

  143.    MAGIC NUMBER SQUARES select words and clues from the word list.
  144.    When correctly matched, each row and column total to the same number.

  171. Differences between Evaluation and Registered Versions:
  172. There are no differences between the evaluation and registered
  173. versions for the vocabulary bingo cards and flash cards. Only a
  174. 3 by 3 magic number square is supported.  The registered version
  175. supports 3 by 3, 4 by 4, and 5 by 5.  Word searches are limited
  176. to 17 columns and 17 rows and 50 words maximum placement. The
  177. registered version supports up to 36 columns and 25 rows and 200
  178. word placement. The evaluation version limits up to 17 words in
  179. other activities.  The registered version supports 50 words. The
  180. evaluation version does not include the spell check dictionary.
  181. The registered version may also include additions to this
  182. program since the release of this evaluation version.

  185. program directory and any files you created in all word list folders

  202. The INSTALL.EXE program will copy the VOCABULARY POWER program and
  203. related files to your hard drive.  The install program is set to copy
  204. these files into the WISCO folder on drive C:

  208. 2. Click on the Run.. menu selection.
  209. 3. Enter A:\install in the edit box.
  210. 4. Click on the OK button.
  211. 5. Teacher Tools - WISCO will be added o the Programs Menu.
